Games & Grub

       During the summers, children that receive free or reduced breakfast and lunches during the school year no longer receive these meals.  Games and Grub was born in the summer of 2016 in order to fill this gap.
       For 7 Wednesdays, the big red "Games & Grub" trailer is pulled to Light House Apartments and Charlevoix Estates where volunteers spend time with kid’s playing basketball; painting nails; bubbles, bubbles, and more bubbles; jump rope; sidewalk chalk; music; and most importantly, eating freshly grilled hot dogs made by only the best volunteers, and handing out bags of groceries to help get through the week. All of our volunteers enjoy connecting with both children and adults during this short time frame.

Several bags of groceries are also delivered to children at Lake Harbor Apartments.
